The Best Day There Ever Was - Part One

On my wedding day I seriously surprised myself.

I am, by nature an extremely anxious and neurotic individual who obsesses over details and LOVES (cough…NEEDS) to be in control. The wedding was my baby.  All the little details and touches were a labor of love for me and I can honestly say I’m thrilled and proud with the way things turned out. The weeks leading up to the day I was so nervous that I wouldn’t be able to control the way things were set up or be around to make sure vendors showed up on time, etc.

However, what I didn’t expect was to be so calm the day of the wedding. I woke up and all i could think was “OMG…I’m getting MARRIED TODAY!”

It all started with a dress

and some kick-ass pink shoes… (that were extra special as a gift from my groom :)

some breathtaking bouquets of garden roses and ranunculus for me, pink dahlias and freesia for my gals.

This shot is slightly vain (i SWEAR my photographer made me do it!) but its one of my favorites
